We spent three days in the Ukraine . We rented a public library to hold the conferences. Most of the women coming to the meetings were women from the streets who never heard the Gospel and were addicted to drugs and alcohol. They were women that didn’t have any hope for the future. But God visited them through our missionaries. We are so grateful that God used us as vessels to deliver these women from addiction, pain, and rejection. Many women were admitting to their addictions and asking for help. They were asking for prayer to be set free.
Toward the end of the conference we had old ladies “Babushkas” (Grandmothers) coming to us with tears in their eyes saying “we have prayed for this day for many, many years. Truly today we have seen God visiting us here in Ukraine ”. They mentioned that they had attended many conferences for women in the last few years but never a conference like this one, where the presence of God was so strong and so evident. They said that this time they had seen Jesus’ presence made real in their midst. They thanked us for coming and ministering to them. We saw tears running down their faces. They said that now, finally they believed changes were going to take place because God truly came to visit them.
At one point during our trip, we took 5 people to a restaurant to eat lunch. One elderly lady was crying from the moment she entered the restaurant until we left. We didn’t know why. Finally, we asked her what was wrong, and if we could help. She said this was her first time ever being in a restaurant. She didn’t know how to take it or how to behave. She didn’t want to be an embarrassment to her daughter, who was the host of our trip. This elderly woman worked her whole life on a farm and gave every penny to her daughter to minister to people on the street. Her first time in a restaurant she was so overwhelmed by how far God had brought them with so little to offer Him. I was so moved with gratefulness for the daily life we have in America . We don’t even realize how blessed we are living is such a wonderful country.
Thank you to all of our supporters. Your support allows us to go in the name of Jesus Christ representing all of you and preach the Gospel and help those in need. May God bless you all. Let’s continue to fulfill the call of God.
